How fun is this! And what a great way to start out a very busy week. I got an email from Renee Demott, editor of Kansas City Homes & Style, congratulating me on making the cover.
The shot is perfect! I not only love this bathroom, I love the photograph, thanks to Matt Kocourek. And I enjoyed working with Renee to make this happen. I have had a sneak peek at the six baths and to be honest I’m beyond thrilled be in such good company.
I also must fess up that my client, Melissa Thiede, has really good taste and great vision so while I want to take all the credit for this beauty, I can’t.
We settled on walnut cabinets which may be my all-time favorite wood material to use. Then we created a feature wall with the slate tile that ran floor to ceiling.
The antique brass plumbing from Watermark made it look rich. Thanks to Kitchens and Baths by Briggs — their team constantly called to check on our precious plumbing that was delayed 🙂 — we were able to keep the project moving. Complete Renovations oversaw the project, and the end product is fantastic! Melissa’s rug is the perfect accent to finish the space.
Thanks, Melissa, for letting me be a part of this and thank you Kansas City Home & Style for including us in your publication. So happy!
